CAPRI AND ANACAPRI
After being picked up from your hotel, or the nearest meeting point, you will be taken to the port to meet your guide and board the catamaran/hydrofoil for a 20-minute journey to the island of Capri. Minibus transport will take you up to the highest town on the island, Anacapri. Here you will visit the Villa San Michele (optional), the former home of the Swedish doctor/author Dr Axel Munthe, which is now a museum. Here you will enjoy a marvellous view of the mainland. You will have free time in Anacapri before stopping for lunch. Afterwards, you will be taken to the town of Capri itself to enjoy a stroll, showing you the Gardens of Augustus Caesar overlooking the Faraglioni Rocks.
Free time is allowed for wandering at your own leisure, through the rather exclusive shopping lanes, or an optional visit to the "Blue Grotto" (weather permitting) before the return journey.
CRUISING IN THE SUN
There is no better way to view the beauty of this coastline than by boat. Sit back, relax and watch the glories of the Sorrento Coast and the Amalfi Coast pass by.
If this is just too hectic of a pace, don't worry, we will moor the boat to allow you to cool off in the deep blue sea. Or why not stay on board and recharge your tan?
With the option of visiting the village of Positano or Amalfi, this day truly caters for every whim.
GREEN ISLE CRUISE
A delightful mini cruise to the islands of Ischia and Procida. You will sail from Sorrento directly across the Gulf of Naples towards Ischia, known as the "Green Isle". At designated spots, the boat will stop and lower the ladder so you can swim from the boat. The boat makes its first stop in Ischia, allowing time for shopping and swimming and taking in some of the breathtaking views of this extinct volcano.
Moving on to the tranquil island of Procida, the set of Massimo Troisi's "Il Postino", you will pass by the 18th century port with views of the castle and the town. A light lunch or snack will be available on board.
ISCHIA
A full-day excursion to see the largest island in the Gulf of Naples. You will be taken by hydrofoil or steamer to Ischia, the "Green Isle", which is an extinct volcano. Once there, you will begin your tour of the island by coach with your local guide. The island is a famous health resort, due to its many thermal baths (spas), which you will have the choice to visit. Being a volcanic island, the vegetation in certain areas is rich. Ischia is particularly popular with German tourists.
